My review this week for Apple Teacher is iMovie. iMovie is an app that you can use on your Mac, iPad, or iPhone to create movies or projects. I personally find iMovie very interesting because it's easily accessible for all ages of students. A good way to jazz up a lesson plan would be to use iMovie. Students are very into technology and as teachers it is important that we recognize certain apps that can increase the devices our students have to its full potential. I believe that this iMovie app is a great way to have creativity within the classroom. If students were placed into groups, certain roles can be assigned or chosen. One student may excel more in writing, while another student would like to direct the scene of the iMovie. It's crucial as a teacher that we take time to introduce apps like these and that we teach the students every vocabulary word that is within it. I personally think a teacher could make a whole course unit over a few weeks about making things within iMovie.
