When creating my Infographic, I decided to use Piktochart. This is an app that can also be accessed from a desktop computer. All you do is select your favorite templates and you can create infographics, posters, presentations, and reports. You can edit your existing visuals. You can save your visuals to your account Download and publish your visuals, and share it through email or to your favorite social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and Pinterest. When you have to present your published presentation, you can use the built-in Presentation mode Visit the featured infographic gallery so you never run out of ideas. What is incredible about this app is that it is free and is very accessible. As a teacher, I think this is so important to incorporate within the classroom. This app allows students to access their creativity and make something they can feel proud of. I really like how students are able to choose their own template, this gives them a base for their ideas. As a teacher, you can use this app with any lesson plan because there are that many options to choose from. I will definitely use this within my own classroom.

I chose to make my very own Piktochart over Texture. This poster can be hung on the wall of a pre-kindergarten class or up to second grade as a reminder or reference. I really liked creating this poster because besides using my common knowledge from what I knew about texture, I was able to put what I was saying into pictures. The graphics within my poster help animate the examples I wrote within the different types of texture. While making this on the app, I found it very easy to navigate and use. I really liked how the template was there for you to use and make your own. I could use this in any lesson plan for my students or where they can even make their own. For example, I could assign my students to a topic and they could work with their group mates to create it. I really like the idea of using this for a science lesson, or to describe the life cycle of a butterfly. Before making this infographic, I looked up "Grade 1 Science" to get the idea in my head. I then found the textures activity but it was being used for something else. I then looked up on Youtube to see if there was a tutorial, so I used the video below to help me.
